If the mother lies in this position while pregnant, swelling in her hands and feet will not occur.

     

      Is Side Sleeping Harmful for the Baby?

     

      Doctors state that it is inconvenient to sleep on your back during pregnancy. Because the weight of the baby in this position creates pressure on the mother's spine and the vessels going to the heart. This can lead to a drop in blood pressure in the mother and less blood pumping to the heart. For this reason, sleeping on the back is considered harmful. There are similar risks in right side lying. Therefore, the most correct direction is the left side.

     

      How should the pregnant mother adjust the lying position?

     

      Women may have difficulty adjusting the lying position during pregnancy. It is impossible to sleep in the same position all night. It will be returned during sleep.
