In addition, there are infection screening tests. This indicates whether there is a disease caused by any infection that may occur in the baby.       Blood Tests That Should Be Done in the Health Center


      In the 11th and 14th weeks, the nuchal translucency of the baby is measured by ultrasound examination and a double test is performed. The aim here is to understand whether the baby has Down syndrome by looking at the nape thickness of the baby.


    At weeks 16 and 20, a triple test or quad test is done. With detailed ultrasound, the heart and the baby's detailed health status are examined. If an undesirable situation is observed in blood and urine tests, a sample should be taken from the water in which the baby is in, and it should be examined in detail.


    At the 24th and 28th weeks, the glucose loading test is done. If the test result is 140 or more, a 100 g OGTT test should be performed and if it is negative, a blood incompatibility injection should be done.


    At 35 and 37 weeks, screening for bacteria is very important in pregnancy. It is checked whether the baby has an objectionable condition and if an objectionable situation is detected in its development, Doppler ultrasonography measurement should be performed for evaluation.
