    ● Women who experienced this disorder in their previous pregnancies are likely to recur in their later pregnancies.


     


     This discomfort during pregnancy frightens expectant mothers in terms of insulin therapy. Insulin therapy is the most reliable for the balance of sugar in the body for both the pregnant mother and the baby. This treatment is important for both mother and baby by returning blood sugars to normal levels and preventing possible discomfort before and after birth.


     


     How Should the Nutrition Process Be?


    When dealing with this ailment, attention should be paid to eating habits. Avoiding carbohydrates to lower the sugar in the body while pregnant can have negative effects for the baby. Therefore, foods that reduce sugar and high carbohydrates should be consumed.


     



    ● Whole grain products (whole grain rice)


    ● Pasta or bulgur (should be consumed in a controlled manner)


    ● Fruit (it is important to consume it with its pulp) are examples of these.


     It is also important for the expectant mother to apply the snack and main meal system regularly. There should be about 3 hours between main and snacks.
